Default Rev Problems

My b16 won't rev past 7000, its an obd 0 b16 in a rex. any suggestions?

check engine light. it says knock sensor. i got it changed by tunerz edge but the light stays on and vtec still comes on.

Who swapped the car? Maybe you have a wiring issue and the sensor itself is just fine.

I don't think the factory knock sensor has enough freedom to alter the rev limit like that, unless it's just retarding the ignition so much that you can't go past 7k for lack of power. I'm really sceptical about that though.. Bypass your VAFC and then see what happens..

Sure it's only throwing a knock code? Recount it just to be sure. I'm throwing a knock sensor code but that doesn't affect anything for me. Is it just now starting to do this or have you had this problem a while?

it was the vafc in and out sensors it was at 1 1 instead of 6 6.
