Looking for a car
I'm putting this here, b/c I would proffer that the car be local. I'm looking for preferably one of the following. Geo Metro, Subaru Justy, Honda Civic or Honda CRX. My only requirements are that it be under $1000, run well, be a manual and get really good gas mileage. I don’t' really care what it looks like so long as it is streetable. If you have or see one of these please let me know.
I’m going out tomorrow searching Roanokes used lots in hopes of finding something...

Re: Looking for a car
Aren't the Justy's awd? I remember someone that used to have one of those and did some friggin' crazy shit in that car!
Some of my old friends were all going to buy different colored Metro's, trade body panels so they were all mis-matched and multi-colored, and run into eachother and do stupid things like that... Thank GOD that never happened.
Anyway, here's a bummmmmp! There's a guy on Vortex that I was talking to who's selling like a 97 Neon for $1800 or so. I think it's got 80k miles on it, or somewhere in that ballpark. Would kinda be a cool car to beat on and be a daily driver. I can pass the word on to him or send you a link if you're interested. I know you said sub-$1000, but a couple hundred bucks could go a long way in this case IMO.
