need help with tire
hey i need to get a new rear tire for my 99 katana 600. the tire i have on there now is a 150/70/17, but the closest i can find to that anywhere is a 150/60. can anyone tell me where to look so i can get a new one on? thanks

If you want them put on for you, European Autoworks did a great job on Va Beach Blvd. and Tire Rack sent them right to the shop. Easy as shit and inexpensive as fuck. Good luck.

www.chaparralmotorsports.com they have a michelin m-50 150/70 h17 for $90.97 or a pilot road 150/70 zr17 for 99.97 thats all i could find for you though.shipping is only 6.00 per tire or third day air is 25.00 for up to two tires. ive done alot of business with them.just ordered two myself this morning for a friend. i got two bridgestone bt010 for $210 third day air shipping is only 6.00 per tire or third day air is 25.00 for up to two tires. hope that helps

thanks for everybodys help. i had already ordered the metzeler Z6 RDTEC 150/70ZR17 before the other suggestions, but it didnt look like there was too much difference in price with any of them. i paid $108 + $8 for shipping so now i just gotta wait for it to come in.

Just make sure that if you put the tire back on the bike yourself, that you put that brake disc between the brake pads

YEAH RON AYERS IS A GOOD SPOT TOO. DENNIS KIRK ISNT To bad. and chapparel is really good. i pretty much order everything from them now. but ive dealy with ron ayers and tehy were pretty good as well.
