Anyone know of a good place to get rims painted/powdercoated?
The title basically states it all........ i have some anthracite rims now, and its gettin old...... want either silver or black. Im still kinda new to the area so if anyone has a suggested place or somethin, let me know, thanx.
If you have a really big oven, you can do the powdercoating yourself.
If not, paint em, its not hard. Get some prep solv and some sand paper and spray away. I don't know of anywhere around here that does powdercoating. But maybe I just haven't looked hard enough?

I know of a place. $200 for 4 wheels. That includes sandblasting, powdercoating, and clear coating. Local place, but I either need to take them or go with you to get that price.
IIRC, that place in Vinton charged TJ like $140 to strip and powdercoat 5 wheels, and a couple of misc. engine pieces (again, if I recall correctly) ....I remember when he told me about that, I was amazed that it was that cheap.
I was going to take my supermeshes there and get them powdercoated to match. May still do that if I buy them when I get back from the beach.
