I used to race novice.....mountain bikes. Had everything from the original stumpjumper, Super V Cannondales and carbon fiber GT LTS-1's....man I need to get another one. Just sold my Cannondale HT with full XTR and goodies.

I've got a Giant XTC2.
I plan on doing some races this year; two at least that I know of so far.
