My mom recently got a ticket, and the court date is scheduled at chesapeake court @ 6/19....a saturday. I was under the impression that court is closed during the weekends. So would this make the ticket void since this is a type-o or would they just reschdule the date? Has anybody been to court on a saturday for a traffic ticket?

 

Tell her to go, and if it's legit so be it, but if no one is there she can get off by saying "I showed up at the time requested of me" and then launch into a tirade about wasting her time blah blah blah

 

log in here and check under your county and her name and see what the correct date is, and see what it says on there, and then decide what to do

They will just reschedule. DON'T use the excuse I was there and nobody else was or she'll get the book thrown at her.
