I'm just curious on this forum on if there is anyone else besides me that had their license revoked by DMV for the 3 strike rule for people under 18. ive been serving about 5 months now, since being suspended in january. i get my license back March 2005. my sentence is 1 year and 3 months suspension. what is everyone's input? what do you guys think? i really can't complain because its my own damn fault for getting the tickets in the first place. so please refrain from any stupid comments you have to say. thanks.

I got my license suspended June 1st. I get it back next wednesday but I have a feeling it's gonna be taken away again for 3-6 months after I get it back. Oh well, this is my second suspension.

calgone, why would it be taken away again? that sorta sounds like me, because when i got my second ticket, i had no idea i was suspended for 3 months until they sent me a letter from DMV saying its suspended. i was driving for like 2 months before i got a letter for 2nd ticket saying im suspended for 3 months. within the time it took to get the letter i got a 3rd ticket. so they just suspended me for 3 months. about 2 months later when i get close to getting my license back, they send me another letter saying that i got 3 tickets and im under 18. so they extended my suspension from march 2004 to march 2005! haha. DMV hates me. and yes sonic 6, when you're wrong, you're wrong, there's just no getting around it. so i just accept what ive done wrong.

Well what's happening to me now is my fault because I'm a lazy jackass. I got 3 speeding tickets earlier this year. I got them maybe 1-2 months apart. I prepaid the first 2 on the internet and that was that. I then got a notification in the mail for the second ticket that if i didn't take driving improvement before June 1st that it would be suspended until I did. Of course my lazy ass never did so it was suspended the first. I just have a feeling that as soon as I get the class over with and pay my reinstatement fee I'll get the notification for my last ticket and it's gonna say I have a 3-6 month suspension. It sucks balls and I have a +15 point record. When I went to court for the third ticket the judge didn't say anything about it being suspended but since I was found guilty I know they sent it off to the dmv. Anywho, I'm still waiting on that last notification. Hopefully it doesn't come in at all.
