del sol question
i know this isnt exactly that technical of a question, but does anyone know if an EG civic lip will fit on a del sol front end? ive heard people say that the 92-95 ones bolt right one, and maybe the 99 Si lips too? does anyone know about this? and also i wont be able to have my motor installed for about 2 weeks, and i need some body work and a new paint job done, so should i do it now or wait untill after the swap

Re: del sol question
If you're repainting the car a different color than before make sure to get the engine bay painted before the swap goes in. I've read that some of the eg lips may fit, but only with some type of modification. Just so you know, the Mugen and the TypeR lip are being made for the del sol now as well...

Re: del sol question
oh thank you, the car will be painted the same color so i dont really have to worry about the engine bay or door sills, but ill try to find those lips for the del sol, the thing is that they are sort of hard to find as cheap as the civic ones

Re: del sol question
The sol front bumper has a strange slope under the bumper that the other EGs don't have. I think that you'll have to modify an EG civic bumper to clear this, or find a lip with that section already trimmed out.. If I remember right it's flat under the civic and sloped under the sol..

Re: del sol question
Ideally, yeah. Depends on how much time you want to spend on it, and whether you're a "bolt-on" or a "make it fit type" of person..
