Every once and a while when i start my car and leave it running for a while...We'll hear some disturbing noises and my engine'll start to smoke...

The smoke is coming from around the AC Compressor, and there is coolant below it and it seems to have squirted over onto my manifold (which is probably wahts smoking). Any ideas as to what is causing this/what can fix this?

 

hmmm...when you say coolant do you mean radiator fluid coolant, or freon from the ac, or some other fluid?

But the AC never gets cold if that means anything.

 

Prolly not FREON being FREON is a gas! Check your rad hoses and see if your low on coolant.

no damnit, it only does it once in a while....pisses me off. But why is it making that weird noise and smoking and all that shit.

 

IF u have ran a/c with no freon(r134) you will sieze up the compressor very quick.

 

your input is not valid here, go somewhere else.

 

If you run your AC with not REFRIGERANT the AC compressor will not kick on.
