will this make a differents? i was told it will bolt right on i sthat true? also is it a good idea to use it ? i hav ethe stock one on my car and if the LS throttle body bolts right up uit would be better cuz its bigger ...right?

 

all b series throttle bodies are interchangable between D series and vise versa. Im almost 100% positive that its the same size as the z6/y8 tb. Or if it is any larger not by more than a mm give or take. not worth the time and/or effort. if your going to get a throttle body, then get a B20, Type R, and even the prelude ones should work.

 

The B20b/z throttle body it the same size as the b18a/b and b16a throttle body.

also is 2 mm gonna make any real diff?

 

2mm isnt really worth your time. 4mm at the minumum...dont forget to port match the throttle body to the intake manifold

 

i've looked into it. not worth it unless you are really heavily modded and go aftermarket TB that is going to be at least 62mm.

 

and yes the map sensor is interchangeable. you can use all stock stuff off your D TB on the B series one.
