Oh trust, you don't offend onyone. It's just that peeps like to flame on here cause, well, we're at work and have nothing better to do.

I went to Dave and Velmas autobody to get a quote, and they wanted $6000 just for the paint job alone, and they told me I should go to Maaco and to tell the people at Maaco that I wanted a good paintjob, not their usually shitty work and like to prepare it right. Maaco quoted me a really good price, and they said it would be OEM quality, it was alot more expensive than their usual work though. Said it would only take a week though.

 

how much was it at maaco? did they do the prep work (primer/sand/bondo..etc) themselves or did u do it? i also need a paint job and i have the paint code, do i jus give to them and can mix it for me or do i have to pick out the colors the offer?
