Default problems after turbo install

i installed my drag gen 3 turbo kit yesterday on my 97 ex sohc. my car smoked really bad when i first started it and let it run. it doesnt wanna idle good at all. it sputters when i drive until i hit boost. once i hit boost it runs good. my setup is a drag gen 3 turbo kit with a FMU and missing link.

help me find out why it sputters and doesnt wanna idle!!

any answers would be great! thanks

btw: i was running it open downpipe and its only boosting 4psi

Atleast run the hack. FMU sucks. Is it still smoking?

i just got back from driving it, no smoke. i fixed my vaccum leak and reset my battery . runs much better just needs some back pressure. i have a walbro 255 intank pump. it idles decent now. but like if i get on it hard then let off the idle will go down real low and sometimes the car will turn off. and 1 last thing i need to fix my oil leak on my oil pan.. HELLO JB WELD LOL ill keep everyone updated. i feel much better now that it runs better
