Can this only be done by a tig welder? Any shop in the 757 that can do this fairly cheap, just a bov flange...

on jefferson go to auto muffler king and ask for Keven (yeah its spelled like that) told him MR2 josh sent you, he is sick at welding. I direct all my friends to him and they are surprised at how cheap it is and the best welding i have seen around here.

 

try the wheel doctor in VA beach they can do it

 

u can also mig aluminum.

 

i wouldnt, would turn out shitty, you cant control the heat like you can a tig welder.

 

If you have the right Mig set up You can make it look Good.. But Tig is the way to go...

mr2 tuner. u can make mig welds look just as good as any tig. i'm around mig welding 12 hours a day 6 days a week. i'll take some pics tomorrow of some nice ass aluminum mig welds.
