my headunit won't light up or work since my car died and replaced the battery...any help would be appreciated...i checked the wiring to see if its hooked up correctly but anything further than that is out of my electronic knowledge...thx in advance!

 

check your fuses

 

some headunits have a built-in security feature that makes you have to reset them after power has been removed.

 

what kind of head unit is it? is it a stock head unit?

STi = No radio from factory


Jon, check your fuses and if that isn't it, look in your owner's manual. I have a radio key that I have to punch in with mine to get it working again.

I thought STi's had an optional radio. In either case, check your fuses, if its not that, then you must have one of those radio's with that security feature where they won't work under certain circumstances. Either way, its nothing big.
