Default My new 1990 Shelby Daytona

Just thought I'd share my new project. For those who don't belive in Mopar. This engine has 230K on it and will still run mid 14's in the 1/4. Not bad for a 14 year old car with a few mods. Check out pics below.

by far the cleanest one ive seen.

I race my friends all the time. he has a 90 also with some "stuff" done. With bent blades on the turbo and shit he is still only like a car or 2 behind me.

It's on order along with a new Super 60 Turbo, Adj Fuel Reg, +30 Injectors, Ported Exhaust Manifold and some other crap. True test of the motor at 18+ Psi. If it goes, it goes. I already have rebuild in my head anyway. We will see!

Nice, I was looking at these a while back until I caught a glimpse of the shelby lancer. Still would like one for a project but hard to find.

if you need parts, there are PLENTY at U Wrench-It, it seems every time i go there, there is a few turboed ones there. I attempted to remove a turbo off of one before but it was too much of a pain... the intake was right above it and the firewall is right there too so there isnt much room to get 2 of the bolts off. PITA..... but nice looking car!

You have to pull the Head in order to take the Turbo Off. Stupid I know but a hell of allot easier.
