Default Any Mr2 Owners??

anyone else have trouble with aftermarket rims? i bought 17x7 inch rims all around with 225/45/17 tires. the back is fine, but the front hits the inner strut tower. does anyone know if buying aftermarket struts will fix this?

i got no problems but i run with 215/40/17. 225 are prolly too wide.

get a different offest rim that allows you to mount the tire with out the tire hitting the bottom of the strut and still keep the 225mm.

no. offset will not clear the strut perch unless you go stupid skateboard offset. on 205/45/17, i have about 1/2" to the strut perch. i have little room between the wheel and the strut body. do you have a MkI or MkII?
