Tranny's have problems with idiot eclipse owners that like doing 6000rpm clutch dumps at every stoplight...
the DSM tranny doesn't necessarily have problems, but because of it's design it's not the smoothest shifting. expect a lot of crunchiness and missed shifts. also, crankwalk is often misdiagnosed as problems in the clutch/transmission.
Yea I read some stuff about crankwalk and how its a whole chain of things goin' wrong because of one thing. But I'm just wonderin' if its common in like the '99 GS-T's.

ive got a 99 gs-t if you are interresting in purchasing one. As far as I know crankwalk is more common when you upgrade clutches..the bigger the upgrade the bigger the chances. But crankwalk was most common in 95-97 years then started depreciating rapidly. 99's are the least likely to experience crankwalk, the problem was mostly correctred (still chances jsut less likely) when they came out with the 99's. Anyways if you're looking for a GS-T i got a 99 for sale jsut lemme know or hit me a pm
