I got the same runaround with my 17x9.5" tires. Found the speed shops and truck places had the larger machines. With tires that wide, it's a benefit to get the 4-wheel alignment even though your car normally only requires the 2 wheel.

What good is getting a 4 wheel alignment(front and rear adjustment on awd/fwd) when the car is only a 2 wheel alignment(front camber/caster/toe)??

Correct, our cars have no factory alignment method for the rear, only for the front. With aftermarket LCA's, panhard bar, and torque arm (each can be adjusted in some manner) it's important on a daily driver vehicle with 315's on the back.

After my suspension setup was installed, first thing we did was put it on the alignment rack and tweaked that rear suspension to get the back end straightened out.

 

I work for a sears in Va beach and we can mount those, as long as the tread width isn't more than 12.5" across it'll fit on the balancers that sears uses. they may not want to touch b/c the fact that you have chrome rims with a low profile tire, easier to scratch the rim. I've personally done a 275/35R19 on a porsche and that was a bitch, so I see no reason for them to tell you no.
