d-series rodberings
ok I got my motor running to find out the guy from this board sold me a fucked up z6 block (posionsol)
It needs rodbearings
how hard is it to install rodbearings in a z6 thanks

not too difficult if you know how to take the head off your car. once you do that, drop the exaust manifold, oil pan, and crankshaft cap. after that just unbolt the rods from the crank (still in the block) and push them out the top of the block. to put them back in you'll need a tool to compress the rings while you put the pistons back into the block. you can do this easily with the motor still in the car. you should just be able to use honda green or aftermarket rod bearings.

Get a new motor cause you are going to have to get the crank checked now. Would be cheaper just to replace the motor then have the ache of going through the entire bottom.
