im thinking about trading in my GTi and im looking for something in the 12k range. What do the members of drag va think i should get? It has to be from a dealer though

what exactly are you looking for in a new vehicle asides from being in your budget?

reliability with mods...i dont plan on driving hard like i used to b/c i live in Nc and i travel to va a lot

might as well go with the wrx then. it's reliable, has excellent aftermarket support, and is awd to boot.

I say WRX obiviously, but the lowest I have seen them is 15k which is very close to 12...

It has great aftermarket support and will continue to grow. They aren't common down here either compared to Hondas, Acuras, etc...
