Thats all at stock boost and some shitty ass bald tires (i hate to use this as an excuse).

 

just recently heard about wed. evenings and haven't had a chance to get out there yet, even though it is right around the corner. cars acting up, mr2 getting trans rebuilt as i type adding new clutch and flywheel, gsx trans shot but have one to put in just need time. I'm hoping to get mr2 back this week so i can put a few hundred miles on the clutch and get it out there by next wed. if not it will have to be the following wed. i'm looking forward to meeting some of the people on here, out there.

Ive done 8.1 at 89mph before but my tires are just shot.. "i hate this excuse because no one belives you but its true they are fucked!"
and i broke something last night and i have no idea what it is... im guessing a drive shaft bearing or rear end its self... but ....

i guess ill be finding that out tonight..

something broke on my last pass when i went 8.678

 

i asked the guy what he was dumping the clutch at he said at 4k

 

dumping the clutch off the line is never the brightest of ideas. an even worse idea for awd's, to much wear and tear on the drive train. his ass was probably boggin of the line.

 

yup broke and replaced my drive shaft bearing... Z is back on the road...
