Default NEED HELP!!! w/ cbr

ok i just bought a cbr 600 f2, the headlight comes on and off, the clutch lever is tight and the throttle is sticky... all these problems are fixable, and the bike was rediculously cheap so please dont think im an ass for purchasing. plus i have no credit, i make good money, but banks dont look at that, they want credit for a loan, if it was my decision i would have had a new bike w/ a warranty but oh well.

please any info that you can give would be GREATLY appreciated, especially the headlight and throttle problems, im looking to ride tonight after the gay day ruining storm lol

thank you guys so much, and im looking to meet you all soon on the road..

happy riding, Nick

1.something is probably loose, the headlight bulbs and/or electrical wiring.
check them both. make sure they are on tight.

2.try adjusting the clutch lever

3.take the throttle sleeve off, and clean the cylinder and the inside of the throttle sleeve and either put wd40 or grease or some lubricant on there

if you dont have a manual, post your problems on here, someone will probably have a link to an online manual that you can use to help you do the repairs.

werd, fixed some stuff...
the headlight problem was... believe it or not, the start button was sticking and because it wasn't coming out all the way... the light wasn't coming on (DUH)

i loosened the clutch up a bit and it's becoming a bit easier to ride but still a bit stiff, i will take yall's advice in lubrication.

throttle stickage lol... well i havn't had time to play yet, but imma put new grips on it this weekend, and a new rear tire so in the process i will go ahead and clean it out, but just from riding around, to and from work, and some play time ha, it's loosened up a bit also... all and all, pretty easy stuff, and WELL WORTH THE RIDE!

I also put a new battery in it, starts right up now ha...

thanks again and feel free to write in my thread about yalls CBR's or whatever else you please!

Nick
