Default s13 240sx weights

i was trying to figure out the weight of my car. i drive a 91 240sx fastback se. and im trying to figure out why it weighs so much. from 89-94 all the different modles of the 240sx about 2,600 - 2,700 lbs, but the 91 fast back se weighs 3,313. i got my information from cars.com, is this a typo? if not why does it weigh so much.

I was under the impression that the 180SX bodystyle was the lightest of the S13 chassis.

I've seen this quote on a few sites, dunno if it's true or not.
The second and third are the Silvia S13 and S14, which come in two different models: the turbocharged K's and the non-turbo Q's. Because of their high horse power and free-revving enginges they are excellent drifting cars. The third is the 180SX, related mechanically to the Silvia, the only difference is in the body style and the fact that is lighter and has a better front/rear balance ratio.

go to the track, at dinwiddie there's a weigh station at the far end after you've made a pass and got your time slip, it's almost directly to the right from the time slip booth.

mine weighed 2600 with me in it, no interior, and some minor weight reduction. i have a 90 fastback.

Greaser?(This is about your sig) why in the world do you think that a KA24DE would be as good or better than an SR20VE? hands down the SR20VE will blow it away as for turbo motors, KA24's do aight ill give them that........sorry for the off topic, but the 2657 sound s about right for a fastback, And i love my 89 180Sx.........(Too bad my cousin wont let me have it back...)

You're reading his signature wrong. He's not saying KAs are better, just that SR isn't better than a KA. Yes it's semantics, but they're important.

He's just trying to dispell the myth that the SR is automatically better than the KA, which it isn't. Both are capable motors when built.

yeah i thought it was a typo. ill get mine weighed to find out for sure. but i just found it strange that the base modle fastback has a listed curb weight of 2,773lbs but the SE fast back has a base weigt of 3,313. and that 1991 was the only year this happened.
