i need speeding ticket help (speedo calliberation)
anybody know of a good place that can help me out.. i got a wreckless, if i can just have it dropped 2 or 3 mph, then it will no longer be reckless. so anybody know of a good place that can "fix" it for me..
I just had my shit done. It is called Speedometer Calibration Center or something of that nature. It is located off of VA Beahc BLVD. right beside the Haynes. It is actually set back a little bit but if you pull into the Haynes parking lot to the right side you will see a banner. It cost $39.xx but you must pay an additional $3.00 for it to be notorized(must be notorized for court purposes) It only takes em about 10 minutes. AND THEY ARE OPEN TILL 3 PM ON SATURDAYS! make sure you have your vehicle registration and your license( they photocopy it) I go to court tommorrow, i am getting nervous... ill tell ya how it works if i am not locked up. I also attended Driver improvement school and hired a lawyer.
my friend tried that. didnt work. plead not guilty, showed the evidence about speedo broken. even had a lawyer. didnt work. judge still fried him. said he should have known about it. this was in va beach court. good luck.
imo. dont plead not guilty. id go with "no contest." which means you plead neither. but that you agree with whatever the court thinks. i think if you plead guilty you dont get to show any evidence about the speedo to the court.

But you can speak and show evidence that you're speedo wasn't working. Sometimes you will get a break that way.
