well my friend mike's making 270hp to the wheels in a b20 turbo hatch, setup on stock internals. it ran a 12.6 at 111
but yes, the b20's sleeves are weak

Why not just start with an LS and sleeve that. same crank? The bore is just different I believe. I think a b20 will handle 18-20 psi on a stock block. How much more do you need? Yes put a vtec head on it.

why put a vtec head on it. Just get a set of bigger cams, do a port and valve job on it.

But then again i am not a b series guy so dont take my word for it, Cause i would rather tell you put a k series in it and. A k24 with a k20a2 head and the crower boost cams. Crower rods, and crower pistons for the k24. now that would be a setup

You could put over 1200 dollars into a ls head and still not make more power if you just put on a vtec head for like 500 bucks. That's my opinion, but I don't know b-series that well either.
