Test drove the Evo
Yeah, not all its hyped up to be. I really hope the STi is more impressive that this was. It really doesn't feel much faster than a GS-T, very dissapointed.

duncan was still not letting people test drive a few months ago...fuckers.

they are much better with mild work

but, the handling is incredible, you cant dispute that.
oh yeah..... EVO's

All cars run pig rich from the factory. My stock fuel maps are 9.5:1 AF around 5k, and around 9.1:1 in the upper rpms. GST's being the same way. But again you just cant say an evo is slow compared to a gst, there is no comparison. If you want to say its slower than a modded gst, thats fine, however the handling and braking abilities will blow the gst out of the water.
Good luck finding an STi to test drive. Even if you find one (there isn't one within 2 hours of here) I'm willing to bet they won't let you drive one. I'm on a first name basis with my Subaru salesman, and they won't let me drive one.
i on the other hand....am personally escorted out of the showroom...
i have driven both....and i will have to say that the EVO does handle better then the STi. as for performance, i like the acceleration of the STi (stock) over the EVO (stock) modding is another story....

does first team still have one? i know shelors has two last i was there.
i got a letter from subaru the other day for the guranteed trade in (which is higher then book....) and a loyalty bonus if i get an STi....but they dont have a wagon.
