people i was wondering what can i do to a b18a1 will u let me knwo what kinda parts i can put on this motor to make it fast i will liek the help so let me knwo k thanks dragva members.

 

How much money do you have?
The more you throw at it, the faster it gets.
N/A vs. FI (forced induction)? Do you have a pref. ?
FI=more bang for the buck.
Is this your daily driver, or just a toy?
If it is your dd get yourself a beater, backup car.

wisco pistons 10.5:1
toda flywheel
greddy header
crower titanium valve springs
head milled
mild p&p
type r oil pump
custom intake (don't ask...its pretty sweet though!)

and I probably surpass most of the modified b16's on the board...short of forced induction.

 

turbo kit + boost = beast b18a1 i say boost the fuck outta that shit

 

for the price I paid for my N/A setup, you could turbo one and half times over.... but I have a strong ass motor that probably won't break. I say probably because there is still a little that I need to do.
With a turbo, well your taking your chances. I wouldn't run more than 7-11 psi max on stock internals....

that part I don't know. I don't even have it dynoed or tuned all the way yet. Its only what I can do myself. I would say probably 13's maybe 14's but I'll never know till I run it. and I'm in Italy right now...so it won'be for a while. But I can pull on a lot of shit over here no problem.

 

im sure that motor gets low 13s thom...
