Damn Chad. The road by the new SPCA by my house is already pretty much washed out, its already half way up a street sign pole...I swear it sucks ass living in a flood zone.

 

That's the worst part. I live up on top of a hill. Nowhere near a flood zone.

the roanoke river, in several areas, has already reached the road. it's almost up to the 9th street bridge and I suspect riverland/9th street will be closed in no time. I don't mind the rain as much as I mind the fucking roads closing. It's really a pain in my ass trying to get to work when they're either doing all this construction bullshit tearing up the roads and re-paving them 3 weeks later, and when the roads are closed due to flooding. Always late wherever I go no matter how early I leave, because of all this shit... Boohoo, right?
