hey im a lil new to the car theme.. i have a 1997 nissan maxima and i recently put in a new head unit.. i wired the headunit perfectly.. but my dashboard lights dont come on.. i was wondering if there is a fuze for the dash or some sort of bulb type thing.. and also if someone could give me a step by step instruction on removing the dash so i can look inside

there is both a fuse and bulb..

I doubt you blew the bulb, but check the fuses thats most likely the problem, your instruction manual will tell you where the fusebox is and the fusebox should tell you which fuse is for the dash.

ahh thanks also.. this might help a little more on the prob but im not sure.. all the engine check/seatbelt/door check lights come on.. its only the the gauges that dont light up

they are different, I am 99% it is the fuse.

actually my manual doesnt give me a diagram of the fuse box... rather tells me how to take out a fuse carefully.. lol.. i already kno that.. does anyone kno where i can find a diagram of the fusebox online?...

the backside of your fusebox cover should say, which fuse is where.
