Red face idles weird

why would my car idle at 1 grand then go up to 1.5 and drop back down to 1 and keep doin it. idle control motor or somethin?

Mine does that sometimes. Is your car supposed to idle at 1K? Mine is supposed to be at 700-750rpm. Should be a screw somewhere that allows you to adjust it.

sounds like a throttle position sensor problem!(tps)

what motor is in your car? If its a turbo, check for boost leaks, mine was doing the same thing for a while and i sealed up all the small boost leaks and now it idles perfect.

Default mine did the same damn thing...

i had to replace my spark plug wires cause one of them went bad....it only takes one...

i had that problem also when my engine reved from like 1.5 k to 1 k at idle... i figured out i had a bad IAC Valve (Idle Air Control) and once i got that fixed it was all good.

dude dont fix it, it will make you seem like you are fast when you are idling. if someone askes what it is just smile and be like i dont know with a grin. tiiiite!

lol i think ill fix it then... oh yeah i think it started doin that after i cleaned my throttle body out with carb cleaner...
