i have a 91 celica gt as you can tell and these are my questions about the 3sgte motor....what kind of results will i get performance wise?, hp and tourque......about what kind of price range will i be lookin at for the labor to install it. and if i should keep my car front wheel? If anyone knows then either post it or PM me...thanks

 

for the swap you'll be fwd obiously unless you someone find an awd car to pull everything off of or put the engine in the trunk jdm engine swap has around 220hp flywheel wise and i think around 217 ft lbs. So that should make your gts run i'd say around low 14's easy w/ a free flowing exhaust, intake, and boost controller. a gen 3 motor has 245 hp and are much better as well as having a ct20b turbo which is good for over 300hp and has been used to run 12's in mr2's all day long. the jdm seond gen runs around 1500-2500 bucks and the gen 3's run from around 2500-3500. As for puting the motor in, its prolly gonna be a lot of money. not sure how much. hope this helps a little. i think a good place for buying swaps would be mr2oc.com , xcars.com , and venus-auto.com
