just wondering if anybody has used it,installed it, did you like it, know anybody with it, etc etc thinking of adding it to my audio visual set up.

 

I saw one not too long ago. Works really well, but expensive and takes up a lot of space. The standard kit just reads RPM and speed. You need another sensor to monitor boost and other parameters. The "fish" function is pretty cool, however.

I was going to get it from www.gruppe-s.com - They told me the price was 20% less than what was on HKS's site. They don't have it on their web site, but they can get it, so you'll have to e-mail them about it.

Yeah. The new Pioneer does it too. If I hadn't already spent $2000 on the DVD player I have in my car now...

 

yeah i noticed the new alpine does it but that shit is expensive versus this unit. already have dvd player 7 inch monitor and such in my visual setup. i thought it was pretty decent for the price. never even heard of it till i scrolled through some old magazines last night. just wondering if people liked it.

 

Yeah. I love it. It works great. Has a standard RCA output, so you can use it on most anything. Requires a good bit of wiring to install it, however.
