saw a nice clean black 240 being towed tonight at the intersection at 50 and stringfellow, probably being towed for speeding =(, sorry to the driver, very nice though

that was me story to follow ina few

 

whew I was worried it was being stolen...

 

cop pulled me on 50 for speeding, aparently 68/45
started on about my exaust bla bla bla
then asked me why i was driving on a suspended license, i advised him that this was the first time i have heard anything about this, meanwhile he goes on about my plate in the front window, and my tags are 2 months expired bc i have to pass emisions (told him im trying to pass, but cant)

i was extremely coopertive and the cops were just being the average, telling me i had been smoking or drinking bc my eyes were red, when i told him to give me a breathalizer he jumped off that boat real quick

meanwhile 3 more cars stop and start questioning me about how i did not know my license was suspended, my record is anything but par, which they knew, but i told them i was certain this is the first time i had heard of this suspension

so the cop writes me 3 (4th to follow) tickets
:dead tags
:driving on suspended
:exhaust

then the tow truck comes, im like wtf, you are impounded it?, he just shook his shook like "duh, of course we are" told me i was lucky he didnt send me to jail
i asked if i could have a friend drive it..he said as a smartass "well if they can beat the truck!"

meanwhile the cops are tearing aprt my car, "lookie what we have here, a radar detector" (harwired v1 located above my rear view, not on. (4th ticket did not take the detector though, so thats a plus)
had to take off the front bumper to load it on the truck, but the guy from willows springs was into the scene so he was quick to help me out.
told me in the truck "cop pulled you for you exaust" shocker thats why i didnt get a speeding ticket!!!


so to end this story, we tow it to willow springs i have to pay 120 bucks, and they let me take it home
and the worst part had to call the girl i was going to get and tell her plans had to change, what a waste of 2 1/2 hours on sat night

thanks for letting me rant, i just wish the cops had a little more disgression im me being 100% honest and coopertive

 

You had a suspended license? How did that happen? That sucks about your plans and all. This could've been avoided if you weren't speeding (not to be a ass), but i would've kept a low profile if i had dead tags and a exhaust.

 

i wasnt speeding, cop used it as a reason to pull me, thats why i didnt get a ticket for speeding
i got a ticket for speeding on the toll road, mailed payment in. they didnt get it, suspended my license on oct 17 is what the cop said, never got a notice

 

damn you are lucky that you didn't get a ticket for speeding. and mbui he got pulled over for exhaust, not speeding or so he says. Also what kind of an exhaust did you have? I have a 240sx myself and wondering if they pull over for a'pexi dual n1s

 

ive got an n1 single, no restriction

 

Def sucks but thats the law...and we all know how ffx county is...
