Default Cop car

Today I was coming home from school and saw either a fairfax county or arlington county or state trooper, it was unmarked. Anyway he had pulled someone over on exit 67 of 66 thast the toll road exit from 66 wesbound. It was a cadillac deville. Either dark blue or black jsut thought I'd let everyone know

if everyone decided to give it a break...stop trying to pass people on shoulders, running redlights and street racing in front of cops i don't think there'd be a problem.

at this point you dont know what car is going to pull you over, like i said, who cares if youre not being a tool.

hey i agree jsut figured people would like to know. I personally think its getting a little out of hand but its understandable the only problem i have is that it is now extrememyl easy to be pulled over by a "cop" but what if its some dude thta jsuts wants to rob you? know its unlikely butits a possibility jsut trying to look out for people

They had a problem with that up here in MD about a year or so ago. Somebody got a police package equipped Crown Vic, legit looking badge and uniform, and he went around pulling over ppl and writing them tickets, or in some cases robbing them. MD State Police said that if you have any doubts of the cop being legit to call 911 before pulling over and they will be able tell you whether or not the cop is legit.

It is my understanding you can another officer to the scene -- you don't even have to roll down your window. Or maybe that's just for non-uniformed officers......

Drive to a well-lit safe area and if in question, respectfully request another officer be brought to the scene. I don't see why they wouldn't deny it -- but if they're a legit officer expect to get raped in charges for every possible thing they can find for questioning their aaaathoritaaaay.

Anyways.. to be on topic...
These different make/model unmarked cars we see -- i doubt they buy them new or anything, and don't see how it's spending taxpayer money or what not. They are most likely repoed or seized.
