Re: Paintjob
Prep it yourself, and take it to maaco for ambassador. Cheap, easy, make sure you prep it first, because ambassador, does not take old paint off, sand, primer, etc. They will paint over the old paint.

Re: Paintjob
Tim's custom paint and bodyshop in NN right off of 17. does fabulous work, restores vettes, painted a ferrari or two, excellent graphic work. you should have seen some of the custom paint jobs on some of the cars he has owned. he painted his truck and boat to match. how do i know all of this? well he is my brother-in-law, and believe me i get no kind of kick back or anything, so this does not help me in anyway. i pay the same price as you would, at least he is fair that way. his work speaks for itself.

Re: Paintjob
I had a guy paint my civic... he has his own shop in the back yard with heaters and everything and used to work at a custom painting place. He did an excellent job on my car, and his price was insanely low.. but he only does it on the side now as a hobby, so it sometimes takes a couple weeks for him to get it painted since he does it on the weekends.

I wasn't all that impressed. Perhaps i expected too much, but the paint didn't match, and the body lines around the headlights were off by 1/2". Mabye since it was an "insurance job" he didn't put his best into it...
