when preping my engine head and block for hot tanking. what all is included in preping? what do i have to do to the engine to have it ready?

is it true that hot tanking is not safe for aluminum parts, like some heads and blocks? i need to learn about this before i build my next engine

I can see why...aluminum can warp easily if the temperature varies too much.

you can tank aluminum, however, it is a different powder.


ours is ghetto, merely a 55 gallon drum and a heater


we just use it on our own shit for liabilty issues.
