Default Shock replacement, coil compressor wont fit....

Alright.. Just trying to replace a shock on my brother civic.. but it seems that the only spring compressors we can find, the lil lips are too big to fit between teh coils on the spring to attach.... anyone have any ideas?

We managed to do it on the other side about a month ago... but it was a total bitch due to shitty tools....

Anybody know of a different route or if there is a different kind ofcompressor/where to get it?? SO far the ones at autozone andadvance seem to be the same....

93 civic coupe

thanks in advance

bring it somewhere and have them do it. with the shit all out of the car i doubt they'd charge more than like 20 bucks or so. i know at my shop we have a tool just for doing struts like that and it only takes a minute or two to swap a strut out.

Use your old springs as replacements in your bed.

i just did a spring swap in my 95 cx, i used a spring compressor from autozone and it worked fine. just wondering, they make 2 kinds, one for use on the outside of the spring and one for the inside, which did you use, you should have the outside one.
