Default Fix Idle???

My idle is acting strange. During cold start, my car idles really low (1100 rpms) and sometimes cuts off. If i step on the gas, all it does is drop rpms and cuts off again. Eventually when the car warms up, the idle rises to 15-1600 rpms. What can be causing this. About the cold start idle?

I came to a conclusion there's nothing i can do about the high idle after warm up. It just happens with the chipped ECU.

turn the idle screw down...make sure you unplugg the IACV when yuo do it, or it won't really fix yuor idle. well at least for my car that is how it works.

1100 is actually high(good for cold start though). It should idle at around 700 +- 50 for a b16 when at op. temp. Check for vacuum leaks before you start unplugging/adjusting stuff. When the car is warmed up it should drop the idle. Is it throwing any codes??

Your car is idling way too high. Do what Ultraprince said and adjust it. Not sure what yours should be set at. My car is supposed to idle at 750.

check the stickers under the hood to find what it should idle at.
