Default speedometer problems:

my odometer spins but my speedometer doesn't spin, would it be the cluster......need to get this problem fixed ASAP, my turn signals come on and the light but i don't know how fast i'm going..........need advice...

dude its an 87 things wear out.if your odometer works but not your speedometer than i would say your speedometer gauge itself is bad. if the cable was broken nothing would work. go to the junk yard and get a new cluster, or just keep speed with the guy in front of you.

My speedo in my Escort doesnt work.. Im keeping it that way. I can judge how fast I'm going, and hell, if a cop pulls you he has to give you a defective equipment ticket instead of speeding.
