Since I haven't been on much lately, this is likely a re-post...but fuck it.


Not like I'm interested, but I was browsing through and found this auction...I'm thinking this was off a big rig, but who knows, that's an enormous...and well worn turbo.

looks like a large frame from a detroit 2 stroke, cause of the elbow coming off of it. usually, the air comes straight from the turbo into the supercharger, and then into the airboxes, then to the engine.

yeah, they have to have positive manifold pressure to operate, it is a 2 stroke.

Detroit 2-stroke, 6V92 is what we have in our tankers. high winding diesels. make power to 4k rpm.
