I currently drive a 94 civis si. I have a 95 Jetta that im thinking of trading it plus cash for a 91 mr2 good idea or no???? mr2 has new motor 200 miles( i know personly.. its a friend if mine) but something is wrong with the transmission ... were not sure what, it has a clunk when you first take off but thats about it and leaks transmission fluid a little.

 

figure out what's wrong with the tranny first.

 

just do it. and if the transmission happens to go out on you, make sure you post it here and let everyone know how much it pisses you off and how much you have to pay.

 

yeah i hear ya soul .... im getting my dads friend to look at hit... he has 2 fully built mr2's that run 9-10 secs..... and knows everything about them ... him and his son racce them have 2 identical ones.

 

your tradeing your jetta plus cash, how much cash are you talking about giving him with the jetta?
