For the love of god dont use higher wattage bulbs. No one likes being blinded by a car with high beams on all the time.

get piaa or silverstar or xenon w/ the same wattage and u'll get the effect u want, it's what i did and it hurts me eyes to look at the light hitting off of my hand. w/ only 55w

if you buy PIAA you only buying for the color. There has been a test prove that PIAA does NOT provide anymore light. It actually provides less light than stock bulbs.

i've had stock, 17.95 hyper industries, and 100+$ piaas lasted about 2 years... my hypers blew about once every 6 months, but for my money give me 5 pairs of hypers over a pair of piaa any day and i'll always keep a spare one in the trunk

If you get the PIAA's that dont have the color to them, the hyper whites, they do put out more light just because of the kelvins or some shit like that. The more color you start adding the less light comes through. I paid like 30-40 bux for a set of two and loved em. If your PIAA bulb blows in less than a year they will replace em for free.
