Default Performance Direct near VCC?

A buddies brother had them do some work on his car(engine rebuild, bore, etc) and they forgot to re install the thermostat causing the car to overheat, not to mention he had a few other issues resulting in valve train noise. They Go back to them and discusses it with them and they basically tell him to go fuck themselves and this and that.

Not sure on the exact details, but may wanna be cautious if you venture there!!

I like Performance Direct.

One bad apple wont change my opinion, but sorry to hear about your friend's misfortune.

You said you weren't sure of the details. I'm very curious about it, so if you could find out more and let me know. Thanks.

I've got a couple bad apples for you. My friend took his eclipse gs up their to put a turbo on it and it never ran smoothly. After about a month it just shut down. Could not figure it out. He took it to another shop they couldnt figure it out. Mitsubushi couldn't figure it out either. Finally one day he had time to look at it for himself and found a wire coming thru the firewall that they drilled. The lining was rubbing the metal and finally went thru to bare wire causing it to groung out. Poor instalation job.
Second apple. This other friend went to them to fix his down pipe (had a hole in it) and some other minor things. They told him one price and charged him something way over. The down pipe was not properly done and it started coming thru again. He went back and they gave him the run around.
I'm not saying they are not good guys as friends, but techs I would have to say different.

As in he didnt install a gromet to keep it from cutting the wire? That is a pretty bad mess up. But hey, if some shop AND Mitsubishi couldn't find it at least it wasn't something obvious and it was an easy fix. heh.

Thats good to know cause I was actually thinking of letting him build me a section of my exhaust to quiet my car down. Maybe I should ask around for more examples of his exhaust/welding before I go for it. Cool.

hey i got a bad apple for ya, my buddy had them replace the engine in his nonturbo eclipse. well they forgot to reinstall a few bolts in the suspension, causing it to come crashing down. fucked the shit up pretty bad. it wasnt the only problem i heard. when my buddy took them to court they also have like 5 other people taking them to court that day also for fuck ups. i would never trust them to do ANYTHING on my vehicle. then again i wouldnt trust anyone other than myself or spnamnt. but anyways yeah.

yea ive fixed 5 or 6 cars that came from there getting work done, and no im not lying about this i had to go to court w/ the guy that had the nonturbo eclipse, they put 3 engines in his car and none lasted more than 2 weeks, one even had rust corrosion in the coolant, and when i went to court about them they tried to say that you dont need to take the strutmounts off that go over the axle to swap the engine, but i thoght you have to take the axles out to take the engine out? hmm yea LIARS, thats why i made their own stickers say PERFORMANCE DIRECT SUCKS, made the sucks out of their phone # on their old stickers, thats why they changed the way theyre made now, and they fucked one of my friends over by putting an HX economy engine in his civic EX and said it was an EX engine, then left some of the engine mount bolts out, and they also stated that if you bring your car in for work and ur missing bolts they wont tell you no matter even if its a crossmember bolt, or something pretty major like that. then their lawyer tried to say i wasnt qualified enough to make a statement about cars and i said i went to a tech school for auto tech for 2 years and the judge said overruled, more qualified than these guys it seems, so anyone who has a honda and wants to take it there, DONT DO IT, contact me, ill make sure its done right the first time
