a cop was following me one or more cars behind me, it was jenkins, but he gave me a ticket for speeding but instead of using a radar he "paced" me, i never heard of this before, or i didnt think it was legit as the radar, where he said he paced me at was also at a downhill, he gave me a ticket for going alot higher then i could have sworn i was going, my first encounter with jenkins =(

 

yeah it's legit if they got trained on it and if there cars speedometer was calibrated that day. i got one one those and a girl that i know husband is a officer and he told me all about it

 

they only have to pace you for 1/5th of a mile, and as sad as it is to say it, yes it's legit

 

It's legit. your only hope is that he didn't have his speedometer calibrated.

 

I got paced at a 100 in a 55... sooooo Id say yeah, got my license taken away for 3 months...

 

He doesn't have to have his speedometer calibrated the same day. All he has to do is get it calibrated within a few days of the pace. And like everyone else has said, yes it's legit.

it was on centreville road near the new church being built, was last night around mid night

 

owned by the sack of shit jenkins! i wouldn't doubt he was lying about your speed... abuse of power sucks don't it?

 

ya he loves to add a lil to the story. how fast did he say u were going? is that a 40 zone? was this C.I. Jenkins(FFX) or O.J. Jenkins?(VSP)??
