Early model civic all-wheel drive..........

Early model civic all-wheel drive..........
Can anyone tell me if you can adopt the drivetrain from say a early 80's civic to a 92-95 civic? Or, if the tranny can bolt-up to a 1.5L motor?

all it needs turbo and it will be right up there with the STI and EVO MR.
