Here's a suggestion, take that shit to court and fight it since 1) There's no video evidence of you racing and 2) no speeds were clocked. Sounds like another asshole cop being bored in the LATE hours of the night. What time were you "caught"?

Sounds to me like you were racing, and had a bottle of nitrous in your vehicle that was hooked up, which was outlawed on July 1st. You're fucked, better have bought some KY.

Definitely changed the law. From my understanding, nitrous, as a whole, was outlawed in Virginia. Hooked up or not, turned on or off, yadda yadda. The law changed.

BTW: You're probably fucked bro. Try fighting it, but don't expect to get away free and clear. The judge always takes the officers side.

To my knowledge nitrous is like a radar detector, you can have it but not have it hooked up or a power source.
Take a driver improvement class and save up for a lawyer.
