New boostvalve, and 4.3v diode installed...

Default New boostvalve, and 4.3v diode installed...

The 1.8T is alive. I've upgraded to a new boostvalve and 4.3v Zener diode, and the car is literally a whole new animal! It's really interesting how much power you can actually make by clamping the map sensor.

? Explain, we just messed with zener diodes earlier this semester in one of my engineering classes, I'm curious to see where this stuff might actually come up in my real life, I always just blew it off.

So how do you know your not running lean now? Wideband? are you doing it to control timing or to lean out the mixture? Or to stop boost/fuel cut? Are you raising fuel pressure to make sure you don't go pop?

Not trying to be an ass here but these are important questions since your ECU is now only giving you enough fuel for the amount of boost you have it clamped at...
