You'll hate them until they pay you money and "require" you to ride with them. IF you hate the jackets, then you'll probablly really hate that you have to have your sponsors on both sides and the rear of your trailerer, oh yah, and both sides of the hauler that hauls the trailer... Oh but you're talking about street riders that don't and won't ever have a sponsorship. So I guess I can end the whoring...

Our team is going through this sponsership thing right now and I'm learning allot. Like you won't even be able to get sponsership (from most) until you've raced a full season and placed in X amount of places in X amount of races. It really sucks.

Well, actually and very suprisinglly all I was able to land was a full tire deal and a partial fuel sponsor if I run elf. I really like the power gains of the elf but am having so much good luck with the MR9. What I did was send them a portfolio (resume) if you will of myself and my racing "career." They really loved the layout and the effort put into it and I landed the first tire company I talked to... I have a tire deal with Avon tires. They send me tires and I race on them. If they come out with a new compound they send me a set and I give them feedback. I kind of landed this one perfect in the sense that I had a budy of mine who used to be sponsored by them (he had a partial sponsorship) I unfortunatelly took his place on the east coast. But you have to try and be willing to give results. That means going as far south as Homestead, FL to compete and as far north as Loudon, NH (Or Mid-Ohio, they are both equally far for me...) Anyways, hope this helps.

Here are some pics of the tires (or tyres) that i get. They are superb with bike geometry!!! And feel is amazing on the front and rear. I don't feel like I'm riding with the bars in the front axle and the rear is VERY predictable in slides. Oh well my shameless plug for the avon's GREAT TIRES!!! haha, later,

There, you can actually see the brand of the tire in the last one, are you happy AVON!!!! Later...

Haha!!!! Scott H's Son, is 2 yrs old! Yes, Scott does get some awesome deals from Avon but he has not raced for about 2 or 3 years. (His class was closed to amatuer's on liter bikes) Kinda blows but oh well, he taught me everything I know.
