Default gsr oil pump on an LS

building my LS and thinkin of upgrading the oil pump, i have heard and read that i can use a GSR oil pump on my LS. is there any aftermarket companies that make a good oil pump for the GSRs that i can use on my LS? or go with OEM oil pump?

Yes you can use the GSR oil on your LS block. It bolts right up.

No need to go aftermarket on an oil pump even if you're pushin over 600whp

Stick with the OEM.

What year is your Block? All OBD-II blocks have the same oil pump even the LS. 95 and earlier had different oil pumps, so if this is the case get a GSR/ITR(same thing). They are $120-140 new from acura.

Keep using the gear that is on the crank, no need to replace it.

the gear is in the pump, not on the crank.
