I bought a motor from another dragva member. If he rebuilt it he is a moron, one of the cylinders is scared up which I have to hone. But the rod and main bearings are shot. I mean the bearings are new, but I guess he didn't put the engine back CORRECTLY . Anyways, I need all new bearings, but the crankshaft is scared on #1 main journal. What shop can check it out to see if its still good and if they can polish it?

yea wat hatch said, they did a great good on my engine i had them check my crank and it didnt cost alot either.

Yes, to a certain degree. Best thing is to just go ahead and bore it over and get oversized pistons...but as you know, you're taking away some of the integrity of the cylinder walls (Mr. Boosthappy)
